Stirling stands at the heart of Scotland geographically and historically. It is strategically placed with easy access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the North by road or rail. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are also easily reached.

Stirling is most famous for its historic castle perched on a crag overlooking the city. We also have the National Wallace Monument celebrating the life of William Wallace and the Bannockburn Heritage Centre marking King Robert the Bruce’s famous victory. Other attractions include The Old Town Jail, Argyll’s Lodging, The Church of the Holy Rude, Cambuskenneth Abbey and the Falkirk Wheel.

Stirling also offers many modern amenities such as The Thistles shopping mall, The Peak at Stirling Sports Village offering swimming pool, sports hall, ice rink, fitness and dance studio, gym, climbing wall and outdoor pitches, ten-pin bowling and numerous golf courses happy to have visitors. Not far away, is the Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park.

Stirling is an easy place in which to feel close to Scotland’s history, whether you visit the city or use it as a base to see the beautiful countryside or cities beyond.
